The Project

In April 2019, the client installed an EP-X 400 A device at the MSC Food&Beverage Division logistics hub in Manesseno, Genoa. The warehouse operates with all the logistics management of MSC divisions: Food & Beverage, shop, technical, photo, casino, medical, deck, machines. In addition, it also takes care of the logistics management for the GNV fleet with regard to food & beverage. The logistic complex has an area of about 10,000 square meters, of which 5,000 warehouse 12 meters high with 1,150 square meters of cold rooms at +04 ° and -20 °, for a total of 8,000 pallets.
The power peak detected in the 12 months prior to installation was about 250 kW, for an annual consumption of around 950,000 kWh.
The configuration of the electrical loads present in the Manesseno pole turns out to be as follows:
• Air conditioning/UTA/compressors : 70%
• Non-Inverter Machinery: 10%
• Electronic standard light: 15%
• IT Devices/Computers: 5%
