Bennet Italy
Bennetis an Italian company active in the retail distribution market. It was established in Como at the beginning of 60s’ by Ratti family.
Starting from 70s’they opened stores in almost all Nord Italy. Now Bennet has 73 stores and 51 owned shopping centers and employs about 8,000 people. The business sustainability is also
achieved by more efficient electrical panels and LED lights in each store, which give less power consumption and CO2 emissions.
The project
In July2015 the first 800A EP-X device was installed in the Bennet supermarket in Sedriano (MI).
The annual energy consumption was about 1,650,000 kWh, with a maximum absorbed power of about 370 kW.
The configuration ofthe electrical loads present atthe site in question at the time ofthe technical inspectionwas as follows:
•Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning: 75%
•Inverter Machinery: 10%
•ITdevices: 5%
•Electronic lighting: 10%.
In the following 10 years, a further 41EP deviceswere installed on the Bennet sites in Lombardy, Piedmont and Emilia Romagna (Italy).
