Kymp Talo building Helsinki – Finland

The city of Helsinki, already awarded as the green capital of Europe in 2021, aims to become “carbon neutral” in 2035, even 15 years ahead of the EU targets, considering that the capital owns and manages hundreds of public buildings dedicated to offices, education and sports centers. On the basis of these premises, we are particularly proud of the fact that the Helsinki public administration placed its trust also on our EP solution to be one of the main energy efficiency solutions implemented by the administration in order to achieve such an ambitious goal.

The project

Thanks to our Finnish partners EcoPWR Oy e Väre Oy, we installed two 1000A EP systems at the Kymp-Talo public building in Helsinki, a prestigious public building dedicated to urban design where are working almost 1000 people, in order to improve power quality and help reduce CO2 emissions.
This is an important first application which, given its positive results in terms of energy saving, is opening the door to many other applications in the numerous public buildings owned and managed by the municipality of Helsinki and elsewhere, including the famous Oodi Library where a 1000A machine was recently installed.
