Energia Europa’s PQ-PRO system is based on ASVG (Advanced Static Var Generator) technology and is designed as a tool capable of generating and compensating reactive power (both capacitive and inductive), balancing currents, and compensating current harmonics generated by distorting loads. In particular, PQ-PRO is capable of compensating all even and odd harmonics up to the 13th order.

PQ-PRO offers three different functions that can be enabled, disabled, or managed with specific priorities depending on the system’s requirements. These modes are:

  • Q Mode (Power Factor Correction): For power factor correction, i.e., reactive power compensation.
  • B Mode (Load Balancing): For phase balancing.
  • H Mode (Harmonic Filtering): For harmonic filtering.

The PQ-PRO model is marketed in Q+B+H mode, meaning that all three functions are active. Compensation takes place according to a predefined priority: first power factor correction, then load balancing, and finally harmonic compensation.
