EP-X is a power quality device designed for all industrial, commercial, and residential settings, aiming to improve energy efficiency, stabilize electrical systems, and reduce costs.
Savings depend on the type of system, but generally range between 3% and 6% of electricity consumption.
The result is scientifically measurable thanks to the Bypass system, which allows for the comparison of energy and power absorption with the device switched on and off, without interrupting power to the load. This is done through a rigorous and transparent measurement protocol validated by IMQ.
It is installed in the electrical substation, downstream of the medium voltage transformer and upstream of the entire powered system.

The EP-X system is a power quality device designed for energy efficiency in businesses. Based on the technology of serial passive inductive filters, EP-X is an innovative solution effective across the entire line powered by MV/LV transformers and renewable sources. It reduces disturbances and losses in modern electrical systems by reshaping the current waveform. This results in improved power supply quality and reduced energy consumption without compromising output.
Energia Europa’s EP-X solution qualifies as a “leading asset” eligible for tax credit access.
The Transition 5.0 plan offers tax credits to companies investing in tangible and intangible assets that reduce energy consumption. Eligible investments must be made between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2025, including purchase, installation, and interconnection of the assets. Reporting may be submitted until February 28, 2026.
