Founded in Vienna in 1872 by Gottfried Schenker, the company initially focused on providing logistics and transportation solutions to neighboring countries. Within a few years, however, its operations expanded to cover the entire European continent and North America.<br>Today, DB Schenker operates globally, in 130 countries with a network of over 2.000 locations. In Finland, it has 7 logistics hubs and head offices covering a total of over 200.000 square meters. The commitment to sustainability, with the goal of being carbon neutral by 2040 is evident in innovative solutions for low-emission land, air, and sea transportation and in improving the efficiency of logistics hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In April 2021, 3 EP-X 1000A systems were installed at the logistics warehouse in Vantaa, Finland. The systems are installed under 3 different lines fed by 3 transformers, PK1, PK2 and PK3 respectively.
